ANTI-RACISM STATEMENT

The mission of the Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau is to lead the evolution of the Summit County hospitality economy through service excellence and innovation. Current events demand that the Bureau state its unequivocal commitment to stand against racism and the policies that perpetuate it. We believe that Black Lives Matter. 

We believe that hospitality means expressing a welcoming attitude towards all. With our partners, we reinforce the importance of diversity in our policies of hiring and service. We are committed to continuous improvement in implementing non-discriminatory policies.

We welcome all visitors to our community to enjoy the experiences that Akron and Summit County have to offer.
