  • Akron Civic Theatre

    Long recognized among the community’s cultural landmarks, the Akron Civic Theatre has a rich and spectacular history. It has provided the community with a venue for quality entertainment and live performances for over seventy years.
  • Akron Symphony Orchestra

    The professional symphony orchestra has been performing classical music and other genres for nearly 60 years. Upcoming performances include: Shower the People: The Music of James Taylor (April 20) and Akron Youth Symphony Spring Concert (May 5).
  • ANTIC (Actors - N - Theatre in Cuyahoga Falls)

    ANTIC is a local theatre community sharing the stage with actors of all ages. The group has celebrated more than thirty years of community theatre with over twenty on the stage of the Newell Theatre located in the Quirk Cultural Center in Cuyahoga Falls.
  • Ballet Theatre of Ohio

    Since 1993, the Ballet Theatre of Ohio has awed the arts community and fans with its graceful renditions, from holiday classic “The Nutcracker,” Nov. 30–Dec. 8, to whimsical springtime performances, like "Cinderella," on stage May 4–5.
  • Blossom Music Center

    Located in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, this amphitheater and performance venue is home to the Cleveland Orchestra during the summer and welcomes nationally-known acts, courtesy of Live Nation, during the concert season to perform for fans in the 5,700 seat pavilion and on the lawn.
  • Children's Concert Society

    Children’s Concert Society’s mission is to educate and enrich the lives of school age children in the greater Akron community by providing access to live high quality performing arts experiences.

  • Coach House Theatre

    Once called "Akron's hidden gem," Coach House is a small, intimate theatre, in its 86th season, producing multiple series of comedies, dramas, classics, mysteries, farces, Elder Theatre and "black box" programming.
  • E.J. Thomas Hall

    The University of Akron’s E. J. Thomas Hall hosts more than 400,000 people of all ages who visit the Hall for a variety of programs, activities and performances ranging from the University Forum Speaker Series to popular Broadway shows, community events and concerts.

  • Lock 3 Park & Lock 4

    Billed as “Akron’s hottest destination for outdoor entertainment,” Lock 3 always seems like the place to be during the summer. Free or low-dough shows every Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
