Glendale Cemetery

With picturesque trees and monuments, this park-like cemetery is the burial spot of some of Akron’s famous residents. Founded in 1839, the Cemetery is now listed on the National Register of Historic Landscapes. Unique features, such as architectural elements of the memorial chapel and bell tower, make for a historical visit to the grounds, while the stillness and serenity of the site encourages reflection.
