Tuesday Musical – FUZE! A Tribute To Sarah Vaughn

  • At E.J. Thomas Hall
  • Features Chicago Jazz Orchestra Conductor and Artistic Director Jeff Lindberg and his big band
  • Also features vocalists Ann Hampton Callaway, Dee Alexander, and René Marie
  • Nicknamed “Sassy” and “The Divine One,” Sarah Vaughan was a four-time Grammy winner plus a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
  • Tuesday Musical first began in 1887 when a group of Akron women got together to discuss how to raise Akron’s music appreciation.

Hiking the Cuyahoga Valley National Park

  • The Ledges Trail leads you to a rock outcropping gives an unobstructed view across the valley facing west.
  • Ledges Trail is a 2.2 mile loop

Hale Farm – Maple Sugar Fest & Pancake Breakfast

  • Enjoy a hearty pancake breakfast 
  • Head out into the Sugaring Camp to learn about tree tapping, the maple sugar process and experience oxen demonstrations
  • Hale Farm and Village is a living history museum - located within the boundries of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park - that has a variety of historical buildings
  • Hale Farm was the original homestead of Jonathan Hale, a Connecticut farmer who migrated to the Western Reserve in 1810
