Highland Square Theatre

• This single-screen movie theater shows 1st-run films in a building dating back to the 1930s.

• The Highland Theatre, a “jewel” in Akron’s Highland Square, is a neighborhood theatre in an area of eclectic shops, bars, and restaurants. Dating to 1938, the theatre seats over 600 patrons. Your movie enjoyment is enhanced by a big screen, as well as digital projection and sound. The art deco décor has been refreshed to include a dance floor, booths, and tables.
