Let the stress and strain of life fade away while exploring Akron/Summit County's scenic wonderland. Visit Ohio's only national park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which was the 14th most-visited park in the United States in 2022. It features over 33,000 acres to hike, bike, ski, sled, and unwind. Summit Metro Parks offer 14,300 additional acres, with 16 parks, six conservation areas, more than 120 miles of trails, and 16 miles of the Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail.

Some of the most iconic attractions in the Akron/Summit area include Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens and Hale Farm & Village, which extol their surroundings, highlighting manicured gardens and vistas. The Akron Zoo is another popular attraction, giving you a slice of wildlife with glimpses at creatures of all sizes from all around the world.
