Farm Markets to Explore

Szalay’s Farm & Market

Szalay’s Farm and Market is a Cuyahoga Valley staple that started in 1931 as a vegetable farm. After nearly 100 years in operation, it’s a specialized sweet corn farm and pumpkin patch. They also serve up fall delicacies and vegetables. Go pumpkin picking or enjoy fresh pressed cider. Also, explore the three-acre corn maze, which features a different theme each season. Admission is $6 for the maze and a trip through the Spinning Barn. Kids under three are free.

Hudson Farmers Market

Come explore a self-managed nonprofit farmers market. Hudson Farmers Market features more than 40 artisan vendors and small businesses. Browse root vegetables, all-natural honey, sourdough breads and mouthwatering fall-flavored pies. They are open every Saturday through October 11 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunny Dell Farms

Located in Stow, Sunny Dell Farms is a one-stop-shop for all things autumn, from farm-fresh produce to festive decor. The market offers seasonal favorites like apples and cider to go with homegrown vegetables such as corn, onions, and tomatoes—perfect for a cozy dinner. You'll also find vibrant mums and classic decorations, including pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks. 

Dunkler’s Farm Market

Embrace the season with a visit to Dunkler's Farm Market in Copley. This local favorite offers a wide variety of fall goodies, from pumpkins, gourds, and festive decor. You can also browse their selection of vibrant mums to add a perfect pop of color to your home. 

Luther’s Farm Market

Get ready for autumn fun at Luther's Farm Market in Richfield! Every Saturday and Sunday throughout October, you can join in their Fall Festival, with hayrides, face painting, a petting farm, games, and the famous Pumpkin Cannon.

Admission to the Fall Festival activities is $7 for ages 13 and up, $5 for ages 4 to 12, and free for children three and under. But no paid admission is needed if you just want to visit the market and find everything you need for fall decorating, including pumpkins and cornstalks. You can also stock up on locally-sourced freezer meat during the winter by calling or messaging them for details.

 

Visit the Heritage Farms Pumpkin Patch

Each fall, Heritage Farms (in operation since 1848) turns into a pumpkin patch paradise. Its “Pumpkin Pandemonium” event takes place now through October 25. Autumn fun for the entire family includes hayrides, a harvest maze and a scavenger challenge. Come see all the pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks and straw bales as you explore the historic site. 

Kidzone activities include pumpkin ball roll, ski ball, bean bag toss, rubber duck races and more. All-access wristbands cost $13 for adults, $17 for children, $10 for seniors and free for kids under two. There is no admission fee for parking, the pumpkin farms or food vendors.
